As September draws to a close, Hollywood is preparing a busy October and November, with established franchises competing for attention alongside original stories from acclaimed filmmakers.

September's final weekend brings several star-studded productions. On 25 September, Robert Pattinson appears in "Primetime", directed by Lance Oppenheim. Set in 2006, the film explores television history through the story of American presenter Chris Hansen and his controversial programme "To Catch a Predator".
Brad Pitt returns in "Heart of the Beast", David Ayer's survival thriller about a former Special Forces soldier stranded in the Alaskan wilderness with his retired service dog following a plane crash.
Animation enthusiasts can look forward to DreamWorks' "Forgotten Island", following two friends who discover a mysterious portal. Meanwhile, Emilia Jones and Nick Robinson star in the romantic drama "Charlie Harper".
<h3>October Brings Hollywood Heavyweights</h3>
October opens with two prominent releases on 2 October. Alejandro G. Iñárritu directs Tom Cruise in "Digger", a darkly comic story about a powerful man attempting to save humanity after unleashing a catastrophe.
Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett lead "Verity", a psychological thriller adapted from Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel.
