Hey Lykkers! Finding a foundation that gives good coverage without making my breakouts worse has taken a lot of trial and error. I have acne-prone skin, so I'm always looking for formulas that feel comfortable, don't seem to clog my pores, and still leave my skin looking smooth.

After testing a few popular foundations, these are the three that have earned a spot in my makeup collection.

1. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation — 4/5

This foundation has such a lightweight feel, but it still gives beautiful medium coverage that easily evens out my skin tone. It does a great job of softening the appearance of blemishes and acne marks without looking heavy or cakey. My skin still looks like skin, and the natural finish makes it perfect for both everyday wear and special occasions.

2. Trinny London BFF All Day Foundation — 4.5/5

This has quickly become one of my favorites. The formula blends effortlessly and feels comfortable all day, even on my sensitive, acne-prone skin. It gives really nice coverage while keeping my complexion looking fresh and natural. I also love how well it lasts throughout the day without feeling thick or uncomfortable, making it my top pick out of the three.

3. L'Oréal Paris Infallible 24 Hour Fresh Wear Foundation — 4/5

If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, this one is definitely worth trying. It provides great coverage that helps blur redness and blemishes while still feeling lightweight. I was happy with how long it lasted throughout the day, and it didn't leave my skin feeling overly greasy or heavy after hours of wear.

Overall, all three foundations worked well on my acne-prone skin and gave me the coverage I wanted without feeling uncomfortable. My favorite is the Trinny London BFF All Day Foundation because it has the best balance of coverage, comfort, and wear time, but I'd happily use any of these depending on the look I'm going for.
