It’s easy to fall into the habit of using one favorite blush every day.
Once you find that perfect shade that complements your skin tone and routine, the rest of your collection often ends up sitting untouched. However, rediscovering forgotten blushes can be a fun way to refresh your look and experiment with different finishes and formulas. Here are a few blushes from my stash that deserve more love, even if they’re not my current go-to!

The Benefit Benetint is a cult classic, but it has a unique formula that takes some time to get used to. Unlike creamy or powder blushes, it has a very thin, water-like texture that stains the cheeks for a natural, long-lasting flush. While the rose-tinted color is beautiful, it can be tricky to blend evenly, especially when applied directly to dry skin.

The Revolution Balm Blush offers impressive pigment payoff and a smooth, dewy finish. The shade I picked leans more toward peachy orange, which doesn’t perfectly match my current skin tone. However, this color could look stunning during warmer months when a sun-kissed glow feels more fitting. The texture is creamy and blends easily, leaving a hydrated, healthy sheen on the cheeks.

Ciaté’s Dewy Blush is another great formula that I don’t use nearly enough. It’s lightweight, blends beautifully, and delivers a radiant, luminous finish. The pigmentation is strong, so a little goes a long way, which can make it intimidating for quick makeup days. The shade I own isn’t one I gravitate toward often, but it’s perfect for those fresh, glowy looks that are ideal in the spring or summer. Sometimes all it takes is revisiting the right lighting or seasonal mood to fall in love with a product again.

While Benefit Benetint, Revolution Balm, and Ciaté Dewy Blush may not be in constant rotation right now, each offers something unique and deserves another chance.
