Our adventure to the Teton Range was an exhilarating journey into one of America’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Located in northwestern Wyoming, this stunning mountain range offered us a wealth of outdoor activities and awe-inspiring landscapes.
Dear Lykkers! Here’s a glimpse into our experience and some tips for making the most of your visit.

Gazing at Grand Teton

Our trip began with a visit to Grand Teton, the highest peak in the range, standing tall at 13,775 feet. We embarked on a scenic drive through Grand Teton National Park, where we were treated to stunning views of the rugged peaks. The park is open year-round, though some facilities and services are limited in winter. We visited during the summer months when the weather was perfect for exploring. Entry to the park costs $35 USD per vehicle, valid for seven days, which gives you ample time to enjoy the diverse landscapes.
One of the highlights was the Jenny Lake area, where we took a leisurely boat shuttle across the lake and then hiked to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point. The boat shuttle operates from late June to early September, and tickets cost around $20 USD for a round-trip. The hike to Hidden Falls is about 1.5 miles round trip, with stunning views and the soothing sound of cascading water. The hike to Inspiration Point adds another 1.5 miles, offering panoramic views of the Teton Range and the lake below.

Exploring Jackson Hole

Another gem of our Teton adventure was the nearby town of Jackson Hole. Known for its charming atmosphere and vibrant arts scene, Jackson Hole is a perfect spot to unwind after a day of hiking. We enjoyed strolling through the town’s lively streets, visiting local galleries, and sampling delicious cuisine at some of the local eateries.

Scenic Wildlife Viewing

For wildlife enthusiasts, the National Elk Refuge is a must-visit. We took a wildlife tour where we had the chance to see elk and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. The refuge is open year-round, and guided tours are available from late fall through early spring. Tours are typically priced around $50 USD per person and provide a unique opportunity to observe the diverse wildlife in the region.

Comfortable Accommodation

To make our stay even more enjoyable, we stayed at the Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa, conveniently located in Teton Village, just a short drive from the park. This resort offered us luxurious accommodations with stunning views of the mountains. We particularly enjoyed the on-site amenities, including a spa and a heated outdoor pool, which were perfect after a day of exploring. Rates at Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa start at around $350 USD per night, providing a blend of comfort and proximity to the Teton Range.
Lykkers, our trip to the Teton Range was a truly unforgettable experience, filled with breathtaking landscapes, exciting adventures, and serene moments. From the towering peaks of Grand Teton to the charming town of Jackson Hole, every aspect of our journey was remarkable.
